SANTOS, Maria José dos y MALUF, Maria Regina. Interventions in phonological conscience and learning of the written language. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2007, vol.27, n.1, pp.95-108. ISSN 1415-711X.
Several studies show the evidence of a high association between phonological conscience and the capabilities of reading and writing. The objective of this work is to identify and analyse intervention researches in phonological conscience and its effects on the learning of the writen language. Three types of researches are identified: with illiterate adults, with children with difficulties in learning to write and with pre-school children. The results of the analysis show that the intervention programs have positive effects in the learning of the written language. The development of the phonological conscience emerges as a facilitating condition, although not sufficient, in the process of acquisition of the written language.
