Resumen

PIROTTA, KATIA CIBELLE MACHADO  y  SILVA, ALESSANDRO SOARES DA. Political psychology of migration: childhood and immigrant families in court cases. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2023, vol.23, n.58, pp.556-573.  Epub 08-Jul-2024. ISSN 2175-1390.

The Political Psychology of Migration is based on multicultural processes, migratory processes in which emotions and politics play a key role. Whether forced by wars and civil conflicts, whether resulting from climatic phenomena or motivated by economic issues, individual-collective dynamics trigger psychopolitical processes, seeking to understand elements of socio-psychic suffering or the dynamics related to acculturation processes. Here we will analyze documents related to the childhood of immigrants in Brazil, in order to learn how immigrant families interacted with the judiciary to solve their problems and which demands were taken to justice. By reading the processes, we seek to understand the challenges faced by families and children in the new society. We focused on the years 1927 to 1932.

Palabras clave : Political Psychology; Migration; Immigrants; Gender; Justice.
