MACHADO, Antônio Bonfada Collares et al. Adaptation and validation of the Comprehensive assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy processes (CompACT). Aval. psicol. [online]. 2023, vol.22, n.1, pp.73-81. Epub 03-Mayo-2024. ISSN 1677-0471. https://doi.org/10.15689/ap.2023.2201.22930.08.
This study aimed to adapt and validate the Comprehensive assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy processes (CompACT), which evaluates psychological flexibility accordingly to three dyadic processes (1) openness to experience, (2) behavioral awareness, and (3) valued action. The sample consisted of 377 subjects (aged between 18 and 64 years) from the general population. Evidence of validity based on the internal structure of the scale was provided by parallel analysis, which indicated a three factor solution, as in the original scale, and by exploratory factor analysis. The final scale presented good internal consistency (α=.89). Furthermore, the CompACT showed adequate convergent validity, presenting moderate negative correlations with the AAQ- II and anxiety, stress and depression measures.
