The intrafamily sexual abuse against children and adolescents occurs silently and in recent years it has been increasing discussion in the social environment. Large part of society does not believe this can happen within families, but the high frequency of abuse in the world today is to rethink the matter that already existed, but in total secrecy. With the aim to demonstrate issues on the development of these children and adolescents, mainly in the bio psychosocial paper before the fact, the relationship of abuse with the Oedipus complex, the network of support and assistance to children and teenagers violently affected, presented through a literature review the psychological consequences that it encompasses, the importance of family, the law on the protection of victims and the issue of culture in relation to sexual abuse.
