The central objective is to contribute to consideration of psychosocial aspects in the management of people within the framework of personal satisfaction with well-being and organizational commitment (OC). The assumption is that the links change administrative and psychosocial meaning of quality of life at work (QLW). The sample is composed of 270 workers, from 1.550, in a Technological Research Institute. Statistical tests used ANOVA, LSD and Pearson correlation. The results indicated relationships between vectors QLW versus OC versus type of contract. The most significant were: 1) positive associations between satisfaction with the quality of life at work-QWL and affective commitment especially, notably Image (0.55) and camaraderie (0.51), with no negative correlations; 2) significant statistical differences were found between the collaborators with differentiated work contracts, with fairly strong degree of significance in all dimensions of the instrument: satisfaction with the quality of life at work showed significant variability in 35 of 45 variables, especially in people management processes, health care and cleaning. The variable quality of the meals (average 8.16) and contracts form (8.56) showed a big positive difference to the formal workers (CLT) and variables as camaraderie (7.48) were the highest among the flexible workers; instrumental commitment appears with more intensity between outsourced; 3) Trust presented strong evidence on the results of managing multi-contractual teams. It can be concluded that for this study, the variables of quality of life and commitment have positive relations with significant variations from the type of employment contract.
