RIOS, Terezinha Azerêdo. Ethics in research and the investigator's epistemology. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) []. 2006, 12, 19, pp.80-86. ISSN 1677-1168.

This article points out the need of ethics in investigators' work, not only as an indicator of limits, but as a critical perspective concerning investigation, so that it be carried out with clarity, depth and comprehensiveness, problematizing aims, methods and results. Emphasis is given to the meaning of dialogue between the various fields of knowledge. Thus, it highlights each one' s rich contribution to widen knowledge, improve the research quality and build a fair and democratic society, as this should be the aim of what is called ' good research' from the epistemological and ethical viewpoints.
