Muitos casos são vistos no mundo atual, e durante a pandemia pelo coronavírus, houve um aumento significativo devido ao estresse. Vários sintomas são relatados pelo paciente, e há inúmeros casos malsucedidos ou ineficazes. Bruxism is a TMJ dysfunction (disorder temporo-mandibular), where there is the grinding movement of the teeth, causing consequences in individuals. Many symptoms are reported by the the patient, with numerous unsuccessful or ineffective cases. With the knowledge of psychoanalysis, dentistry expands and improves the relationship with the patient, knowing the importance of the oral cavity, providing better care.
