^lpt^aA relação entre a letra, a palavra e a constituição psíquica é tratada através do drama exposto no filme O leitor, sob a direção de Stephen Daldry (2008), que adaptou o livro de Bernhard Schlink com o mesmo nome (1995) para o cinema. O trabalho tenta articular a dialética entre a condição originária do narcisismo e do amor primário e as vias de ascensão para a alteridade.^len^aThe relation between the letter, the word and the psychical constitution is treated through examining the drama in Bernhard Schlink’s novel The reader (1995) as represented in the recent film by Stephen Daldry (2008). We try to articulate the dialectics between the original condition of the human being, its primary love and narcissism and its ascension into a differentiated self.
