Drawing a parallel between the narrator of the “One Thousand and One Nights” and Freud as a narrator, the author brings some considerations on the complexity existing in the psychoanalytic texts. In this sense, he opposes what he names founding and creative texts to stereotyped texts and those with no life of their own, which just safeguard the identity of their producer.
