^lpt^aO ser humano, capaz de contemplar as estrelas, fica, neste artigo, entre o excesso que pode matar e aquele que o livra do tédio de existir. O mito grego de Prometeu deu ao Homem, de uma só vez, a tecnologia e a angústia e, desde então, ele tem excedido o uso de uma para aplacar os efeitos da outra. Procurando evitar os efeitos perigosos do excesso de tecnologia, o filósofo heideggeriano Hans Jonas propõe uma ética para os tempos de alta tecnologia.^len^aThe human being, able to contemplate the stars, remains, in this paper, between the excess that can kill and that other one that releases him from the boredom of living.
