^lpt^aEste texto propõe uma investigação da dinâmica psíquica do suicídio a partir do desnudamento do Eu na melancolia. O suicídio foi considerado sob a perspectiva da identificação melancólica com o objeto perdido, investigando também o estatuto do objeto em questão. A partir da psicanálise, buscou-se desvendar alguns pontos da problemática que envolvemo o ato suicida e destacar o insuportável que afeta o sujeito nessa experiência, tendo como resultado o apagamento da subjetividade e a passagem ao ato como último recurso^len^aThis text proposes an investigation of the psychic dynamic of suicide from the unveiling of the Self in melancholy. Suicide was considered from the perspective of the melancholic identification with the lost object, also investigating the statute of the object in question.
