^lpt^aObjetivou-se conhecer quem os adolescentes de Famílias Originais (FO) e Reconstituídas (FR) consideravam membros de sua família. Participaram 394 sujeitos, de ambos os sexos, que desenharam sua família. Analisou-se a configuração familiar, a proximidade ou o afastamento, a valorização, a desvalorização ou a compartimentalização. Constatou-se que 97,5% dos adolescentes de FO desenharam a família com quem moravam. Em FR, 23,3% desenharam somente a FO, sem integrar nenhum elemento da FR; 45,7% desenharam a FR com quem coabitam; 23,3% desenharam as duas famílias, parcial ou totalmente e 7,6%, outros agrupamentos. Não houve indicação de compartimentalização nos desenhos dos adolescentes de FO e houve 17,1%, em FR. O pai foi a figura que apareceu mais valorizada tanto em FO (65%) como em FR (25%). Concluiu-se que as variáveis coabitação, consangüinidade e tempo de recasamento são importantes na definição dos núcleos recasados^len^aThe present study aimed to know who was regarded as family members by adolescents both from Original Families (OF) or Remarried Families (RF). Three hundred and ninety four male and female adolescents were asked to draw their families. The drawings were analyzed for the assissment of the family configuration, family proximity or distance among members and the valuation, devaluation or segregation of a certain personage. Results demonstrated that 97.5% of the OF adolescents drew all the family members they lived with. In RF, 23 .3% of them drew only their OF members; 45.7% drew the RF members they lived with; 23.3% drew both family members, partially or completely and 7.6% drew other groupings. In the OF adolescents' drawings there was not any kind of family segregation. In the RF family segregation appeared in 17.7% of them. The father was the main figure among valued family members in OF (65%) and RF (25%). It has been concluded that cohabitation, consanguinity and time of remarriage variables related to are important in the definition of remarried families
