^lpt^aO objetivo deste trabalho é situar o método fenomenológico aquém das antinomias entre os métodos qualitativo e quantitativo de pesquisa, e mostrar aspectos da profícua relação da filosofia de Merleau-Ponty com as ciências para a revelação do sentido dos fenômenos.^len^aThe objective of this paper has been to situate the phenomenological method beyond the antinomies between qualitative and quantitative methods of research, and to show aspects of the profitable relationship between Merleau-Ponty's philosophy and science for the disclosure of the phenomena meaning.
