^lpt^aA pesquisa qualitativa em psicologia do desenvolvimento, a partir da perspectiva sociocultural construtivista, é caracterizada pela compreensão do desenvolvimento humano como fenômeno complexo e dinâmico que deve ser estudado de forma contextualizada, a partir de uma perspectiva de causalidade sistêmica. Em termos metodológicos, caracteriza-se pela compreensão da metodologia como processo cíclico que engloba as concepções de mundo e a experiência intuitiva do pesquisador, o fenômeno, o método, os dados e a teoria. Portanto a entrevista não representa um "meio" para se acessarem os conteúdos intrapsíquicos do sujeito investigado, como se os mesmos já estivessem "prontos em sua cabeça". O momento da entrevista consiste em um espaço dialógico, perpassado pelos significados co-construídos pelo pesquisador e entrevistado. Isso será ilustrado com um trecho de entrevista de estudo empírico realizado em nosso Laboratório - LABMIS (Universidade de Brasília). No final do artigo, são discutidas as vantagens e limitações da entrevista.^len^aQualitative research in developmental psychology, analyzed from a social-cultural constructive perspective, is characterized by the understanding of human development as a complex phenomenon which must be studied in a systemic, contextualized investigative approach. The methodology is considered as a cyclical process involving the researcher's assumptions of the world, the theory, his/her intuitive experiences, the phenomenon, the methods, and the data. Therefore, the interview does not represent a "way" to unravel th e intra-psychological content of the subject studied, as if it were already "ready in his/her mind". Data collection during the interview is seen as a dialogical space, impregnated of meanings that are being co-constructed by both interviewee and interviewer. This approach is illustrated here with excerpts of interviews that took place during the empirical studies carried out in our Laboratory at the University of Brasilia. The advantages and constraints of this approach are analyzed and discussed.
