KLAUTAU, Perla; WINOGRAD, Monah    LANNES, Carlos. Some contributions made by Winnicott and Lacan to the analysis of borderline cases and situations. []. , 36, 30, pp.129-147. ISSN 1413-6295.

Both the examination of Winnicott's texts and the study of the last elaborations of Lacan's teachings, have significant contributions to offer regarding the handling of especially difficult cases and situations. In spite of their fundamental differences, both authors share the notions of process, gradation and continuity in their approach. These assumptions are established as critical to overcoming the limits imposed by the classical analytical technique and, consequently, to including patients who do not fit in the standard treatment of neurotic illnesses.

: Borderline cases; Winnicott; Lacan; psychoanalytical technique; interpretation.
