^lpt^aO artigo procura examinar os valores incrustados nas teorias psicanalíticas sobre a sexualidade, questionando particularmente a diferença sexual como matriz da subjetivação e da cultura. Parte das reivindicações gays contemporâneas para examinar o tema da diferença em Freud, Lacan, no estruturalismo (Héritier) e no movimento queer. Discute as consequências de se pensar a diferença por meio das noções de fronteiras, limites ou limiares. Termina por distinguir, no campo das sexualidades, uma lógica fundada nos limites (para além) dos paradoxos do espaço potencial (ainda não).^len^aThe article aims at examining the values embedded in psychoanalytic theories of sexuality, by questioning, in particular, the sexual difference as the matrix of subjectivation and culture. It starts from contemporary gay demands for the study of the sexual difference issue in Freud, in Lacan, in structuralism (Héritier) and in the queer movement. It discusses the consequences of thinking about difference through the notions of boundaries, limits or thresholds. It ends by distinguishing, in the field of sexualities, a logical thought built on the limits (beyond) of the paradoxes of potential space (not yet).
