^lpt^aA proposta do artigo é analisar a função de catalisador de sentido assumido pelo analista no tratamento dos sofrimentos narcísicos. Para tal, seguiremos os principais apontamentos de Freud sobre o conceito de transferência, feitos, em sua maioria, no contexto do tratamento com sujeitos neuróticos. Este percurso conduzirá a uma problematização de grande parte destas concepções, tendo em vista suas relativas inadequações para o tratamento com as modalidades de sofrimento narcísicos. Nesta perspectiva, privilegiaremos a concepção de transferência proposta em Construções em análise articulando-a com o conceito ferencziano de introjeção.^len^aThe purpose of this article is to study the psychoanalyst's role of meaning-catalyst which is performed in the treatment for narcissistic sufferings. We intend to follow Freud's main observations on the concept of transference, mostly made in the context of treating neurotic subjects. This path will lead to a problematization of many aspects of these questions, considering their relative inadequacy to the treatment for narcissistic sufferings. In this perspective, we will privilege the idea of transference as proposed in "Constructions in analysis", by linking it with Ferenczi's concept of introjections.
