^lpt^aNeste artigo, discutimos a noção de ambiente conjugal dos pais como parte do ambiente facilitador do processo de maturação do filho, considerando que a conjugalidade dos pais repercute no processo de integração psíquica do sujeito. Para tal, abordamos o conceito de ambiente na obra winnicottiana, ressaltando os componentes de adaptabilidade e qualidade humana. Destacamos que os conflitos vivenciados na conjugalidade evidenciam-se na construção do espaço transicional conjugal, que revela falhas psíquicas individuais dos membros do casal. Concluímos que uma conjugalidade psiquicamente precária repercute sobre a parentalidade, interferindo na construção do sentido de existência própria do filho.^len^aIn this paper we discuss the notion of the parents' conjugal environment as part of the facilitating environment of the child's maturation process, considering that parental conjugality affects the psychic integration process of the subject. Therefore, we address the concept of environment in Winnicottian literature, highlighting the components of adaptability and of human quality. We stress that the conflicts experienced within conjugal life are reflected in the construction of the conjugal transitional space, which reveals the individual psychic flaws of each of the partners. We conclude that a psychically precarious conjugality from a psychic standpoint reflects on parenthood, thus interfering in the construction of the meaning of the child's own existence.
