^lpt^aO artigo investiga de que forma o processo de estruturação da neurose obsessiva já está em curso na infância. Aborda a etiologia da neurose obsessiva, o mecanismo de formação dos sintomas e especificidades da clínica com crianças. Parte da interrogação acerca da viabilidade de formular uma hipótese sobre a estrutura do sujeito na infância. Outra questão aventada é a possibilidade de o analista restituir algo relativo à função do pai no ponto em que esta claudica para o sujeito. Nossa aposta é que a potência do ato em transferência possa engendrar algo da ordem da operação de castração e abrir caminhos para a sustentação do desejo.^len^aThe paper investigates how the structuring process of obsessive neurosis is already underway in childhood. It addresses the etiology of obsessive neurosis, the mechanism of symptom formation and specific characteristics of the clinical work with children. It questions the feasibility of formulating a hypothesis about the structure of the subject in childhood. Another question is raised as to the possibility of the analyst restoring something about the function of the father at the point where it fails towards the subject. Our betting is that the act of power transfer may create something of a castration operation order and open ways to sustain the desire.
