^lpt^aO presente artigo se destina a examinar a abordagem heideggeriana dos termos construir e habitar a fim de estabelecer uma articulação com a noção de confiança no pensamento de Winnicott. A partir da investigação das palavras alemãs buan e bauen, verificaremos que a ideia de habitar está profundamente vinculada ao processo de construir e de confiar. Fato este que permitiu demostrar que confiar, habitar e construir são conceitos que possuem uma etimologia comum e que, portanto, podem ser teorizados de forma conectada. Tal articulação fornece subsídios para a edificação das bases da confiança no pensamento de Winnicott.^len^aThis paper is intended to examine Heidegger's approach to the terms build and inhabit in order to establish a conncection with the notion of trust in Winnicott's thought. From the investigation of the german words buan and bauen, we aim to demonstrate that the idea of living is deeply linked to the process of building and trust. This fact allows to demonstrate that trust, inhabit and build are concepts that have a common etymology and therefore can be theorized in a connected way. Such linkage provides subsidies for the building of the foundations of confidence Winnicott's thought.
