^lpt^aApesar de os fundamentos do pensamento psicanalítico emergirem da clínica, Freud nunca se furtou a recorrer aos artistas para o aprofundamento da construção teórica, acerca das experiências retomadas no trabalho de psicanálise. Tendo isso como premissa, este artigo buscou entender os conceitos psicanalíticos de angústia e fantasia à luz das animações japonesas de Hayao Miyasaki (1941). O estranhamento provocado pela obra de Hayao Miyasaki proporciona uma experiência que, em muito, se assemelha à fantasia e sua aproximação do afeto de angústia no trabalho de psicanálise. A partir disso, o presente trabalho se propõe pensar em que medida não se trataria a análise de um atravessamento da angústia e a importância da ética para que esta condição se sustente.^len^aAlthough the foundations of psychoanalytical thought emerge from the clinic, Freud never hesitated recurring to artists as to deepen the theoretical construction of the experiences taken up in the exercise of psychoanalysis. Having this as a premise, this article sought to understand the psychoanalytic concepts of anguish and fantasy in the light of Hayao Miyasaki's Japanese animations (1941). The strangeness provoked by Miyazaki's work provides an experience that very much resembles fantasy and its closeness to the affection of anguish in the practice of psychoanalysis. From this, the present work intends to think to what extent the analysis would be a crossing through the anguish, and the importance of ethics so that this condition can be sustained.
