^lpt^aEm 1969, à ocasião de uma conferência que, posteriormente, se tornaria um texto, O que é um autor?, Michel Foucault exemplificaria as especificidades do discurso psicanalítico, situando Freud como um autor produtor de tradições. Diferentemente de um campo científico como a física, por exemplo, onde teríamos discursos homogêneos na continuidade desta disciplina, na psicanálise, por sua vez, encontraríamos um tipo discursivo marcado pela heterogeneidade das abordagens vindouras. Pretende-se, aqui, elucidar brevemente esses aspectos da análise foucaultiana sobre a psicanálise, exemplificando essa caracterização com a noção contemporânea da Terceiridade em Psicanálise e a necessidade do sempre retorno a origem, a saber, Freud.^len^aIn 1969, Michel Foucault held a conference that would be a text later "What is an Author?" in which he exemplifies the specificities of the psychoanalytic discursivity and places Freud as a producer of traditions. Differently from a scientific field, Physics for example, where there could be a homogeneous speeches in its future development, in psychoanalysis instead, we would find a kind of discursivity characterized by heterogenety of the approaches yet to come. In this paper we intent to briefly clarify these aspects of the foucaultian analysis of psychoanalysis. We will exemplify this matter using the notion of Thirdness in contemporary psychoanalysis and we will also show the necessity that we always have in psychoanalysis to return to its origin, namely, Freud.
