^lpt^aEste artigo introduz uma reflexão sobre como os afetos, emoções e sentimentos encontram-se atrelados a fenômenos intersubjetivos e trans-subjetivos apontando para o fato de que eles podem, não apenas influenciar, mas dar forma à estrutura social em diferentes dimensões. Desta forma, explora, na interface da psicanálise, da sociologia e da filosofia, a influência dos afetos na determinação de formas e fontes de sofrimento pessoal e social no mundo contemporâneo. Além disso, aponta para as possíveis formas e fontes de reconhecimento disponíveis na atualidade, buscando envolver o psicanalista em um compromisso ético, como 'agente de cuidado', onde o reconhecimento da alteridade seja fomentado.^len^aThis article introduces a reflection on how affections, emotions and feelings are linked to intersubjective and trans-subjective phenomena, pointing to the fact that they can not only influence, but also shape the social structures in different dimensions. It explores, in the interface of psychoanalysis, sociology and philosophy the influence of affections in the determination of forms and sources of personal and social suffering in contemporaneity. In addition, it highlights the possible forms and sources of recognition available today, seeking to involve the psychoanalyst in an ethical commitment as a caretaker, through which the recognition of otherness can be promoted.
