DUARTE, André de Paulo    SOUZA, Elizabeth Cristina Landi de Lima e. From the drug of the subject to the subject of the drug: in the middle of the clinic was a subject. []. , 40, 38, pp.27-46. ISSN 1413-6295.

This article proposes theoretical and clinical deepening in psychoanalysis about the subject and its relationship to the drug from literature and treatments done at a Study Center. From an ethical point of view of drug addiction, the fantasy was considered as a brake to the repetitions relative to the drive of death and the enjoyment related to repetitive and ritualized drug use. Thus, the direction of the treatment was based on the possibility that the patient sewed unconscious fantasies related to its history from the free association, and the libidinal investment in the analyst's figure as an object in the transference.
