^lpt^aEm suas pesquisas etiológicas em relação à clínica das neuroses, mais especificamente a da histeria, Freud se vê diante de um enigma: a problemática da fantasia. Legitima o relato de sedução das histéricas através de uma teoria que abandona em 1897, ao constatar tratar-se de uma cena, atribuindo-lhe realidade psíquica, comparando o seu mecanismo ao da criação literária e alocando seu estatuto entre realidade e ficção. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica da obra freudiana e recorrendo pontualmente a Lacan e outros autores, pretendemos discutir as proposições iniciais de Freud sobre a fantasia, destacando seu estatuto ficcional e, não obstante, dotado de efetividade, problematizando sua articulação com a realidade psíquica e a criação literária.^len^aIn the etiological researches about the clinics of neuroses, in particular, of hysteria, Freud founds himself facing an enigma: the problematic of phantasy. Freud legitimizes the hysterics' discourse through a theory, which is abandoned in 1897. He notes that it is a scene, ascribing it psychic reality and comparing its mechanism to the literary creation - setting the phantasies in face of reality and fiction. Starting from a bibliographic review of the Freudian work, recurring to Lacan and other authors, we intend to discuss Freud's early notions about phantasies, highlighting its fictional statute, and, notwithstanding, granted with effectiveness, in order to problematize the phantasy question in its articulation with the psychic reality and notions of literary creation.
