O artigo se interroga particularmente sobre a tendência ao abandono da livre associação, posto que os discursos dos analisandos não obedeceriam mais às leis da linguagem e da humanização, e questiona os pressupostos de uma nova economia psíquica.^len^aToday not only is a new discontent in culture often discussed, but also the necessity for a new clinical practice capable of rising to the challenge. This paper particularly questions the analyst's tendency to abandon free association, reasoning that the discourse of the analysand seems not to obey the laws of language and humanisation. This paper also examines the pressupositions of a new psychic economy.
