^lpt^aO presente artigo discute o luto na adolescência a partir dos textos freudianos; objetiva tecer uma reflexão entre o luto e a possibilidade de construção de uma história pessoal na atualidade; questiona se a adolescência pode ser pensada como um momento importante para a historicização da existência do sujeito. Esta questão convoca uma argumentação que se volta à possibilidade de narrar e rememorar a infância no trabalho psíquico do adolescente de maneira a edificar a elaboração do luto.^len^aThis article discusses mourning in adolescence as from the Freudian texts. It aims at stimulating a reflection between mourning and the possibility of building a personal history in the present time. It questions whether adolescence can still be thought of as an important moment for the historicization of the subject's existence. This question summons an argument that turns to the possibility of narrating and recalling childhood in the psychic work of the adolescent building up on ways of elaborating the mourning process.
