PARDAL, Luís António    MARTINS, António Maria. Continuons training of teachers: conceptions, processes and professional dynamics. []. , 20, pp.103-117. ISSN 1414-6975.

As continuous training is extremely complex in relation to the interest levels of the participants and of the objectives, a study amongst teachers was carried out, supported by a conceptual project, which considers training as a permanent act enabling and innovating the professional experience and thus providing self-reflection. This study reveals that continuous training is an interactive factor with a school model, with a teaching-learning strategy and is intrinsically associated with the profession of those who teach. In general, the study reveals, that teachers believe that continuous training should be based on three main points: 1. As a recreative act of the teaching profession; 2. As a catalytic dynamic of the professional and personal experience of the teachers; 3. As an opportunity to articulate the interests and the needs of the participants involved in the process.

: Continuous training; Teaching profession; Innovation.
