^lpt^aA assistência aos portadores de transtorno mental internados há longos anos em hospitais psiquiátricos é uma questão essencial a todo projeto de desconstrução manicomial. A reabilitação nos “Serviços Residenciais Terapêuticos” inclui necessariamente a reinvenção do cotidiano, cuja regulação transforma-se em um recurso terapêutico, podendo funcionar como possibilitador de manobras visando a uma suplência da ordem simbólica e como espaço de construção e presentificação de um Outro menos invasivo. O louco pode ser objeto de políticas públicas e ainda ser condenado à zona branca do silêncio; a adesão a um projeto de vida imposto não garante a inclusão. A psicanálise dá acesso a uma dimensão clínica que está presente no cotidiano, em um olhar e uma escuta atentos ao sujeito.^len^aThe assistance to the psychiatric patients coming from a long period in psychiatric hospitals is a central issue to any therapeutically residential service. Our proposal is that the reinvention of daily life may be an important tool in recovering, allowing the substitution of the symbolic order and making room for the construction of a less invasive Other. The mentally ill may be the object of public policy and still be condemned to silence and that being submitted to an imposed project of life does not mean yet an inclusion. Psychoanalysis gives us access to a clinical dimension that is present in daily life, and to an attentive openness to the subject.
