^lpt^aO objetivo deste artigo é investigar os efeitos da letra a partir da escrita do Condicionado, personagem singular que habita a ilha central de uma movimentada avenida da cidade de São Paulo. Ele escreve pequenas ofertas oferecidas aos que passam pela avenida, fazendo seus escritos circularem pelo espaço público. Escrita que revela a fragilidade das fronteiras que separam o privado e o público, o sujeito e a cultura, fazendo borda no discurso e conjugando em um mesmo ato os restos dos quais a civilização se desfaz e o sublime da escritura sagrada.^len^aThe aim of this article is to investigate the letter effects based on the one conditioned to writing, a singular person who lives in a central island in a rush avenue of São Paulo city. He writes little offerings for the people who walk through the avenue, making his writings circulate in the public space. Writings that reveal the frailty of the border that separate private domain from the public one, subject from culture, demarcating the discourse and conjugating, in the same act, the civilization remains and the sublime of the holly bible.
