^lpt^aO objetivo do presente ensaio é oferecer uma contribuição para o estudo psicanalítico das diversas formas clínicas de depressão. Fazendo do conceito psicanalítico de estrutura um referencial metodológico fundamental, o autor ressalta, a partir de sua leitura do texto freudiano, os elementos-chave indispensáveis para a compreensão da psicogênese e do estatuto metapsicológico das principais formas clínicas de depressão, vale dizer, a depressão neurótica, a depressão melancólica e a depressão borderline.^len^aThe objective of the present essay is to bring a contribution for the psychoanalytic study of the several clinical forms of depression. Making the structure psychoanalytic concept a fundamental methodological reference, the author highlights, from his lecture of the freudian text, the indispensable key-elements for the psychogenetic comprehension and the metapsychological statute of the principal clinical forms of depression, that means, the neurotic depression, the melancholic depression and the borderline depression.
