The interest that the organizational and work psychology has to understand the binomial man-work is based on the functional and structural quality of the company and of human relations; organizational support is an important focus for this evaluation process, wich refers to actions that promote employee development, availability of resources, autonomy, recognition and professional visibility. Studies in Brazil propose a measure that evaluates the organizational support for workers revealing its psychometric quality for this group. It allows to develop an alternative way of evaluative belief of workers in support of the organization before any eventuality. From the existing research in Brazil on organizational support, this study aims to assess the accuracy of the scale in workers in different companies. Participants were 214 employees, men and women. of different companies public and private in the city of João Pessoa, these showed aged between 19-61 years old, 59% female, 66% were private companies, 38 % had an income ranging from economic 1,000.00 to 2,000.00 reais. The analysis of the representation of content revealed positive intercorrelations of items with factor, with all significantly related; toward similar indicators in the confirmatory analysis psychometric ratified the factor structure previously found in Brazilian studies. Thus, the scale can be considered efficient to measure the perception of the employee, the company public and private, on the support that the organization provides.
