This study aims to analyze a functional assessment for pupils with intellectual disabilities, called Evolutionary Profile Indicators (EPI - Psychology), which is based in the International Classification of Functioning (ICF/WHO). Participants will be of both genders and ages ranging from 10 to 40 years, enrolled in social projects of an Institute of social inclusion in the state of São Paulo. The EPI data will be collected through two evaluations, the first to the beginning of 2013 and the second at the end of 2014. In this second time a psychometric instrument will be applied in order to identify the psychological profile of the participants, being the Raven's Colored Progressive Matrices. Later will be held internal consistency analysis of the measures of the evaluations through Cronbach's Alpha, then correlations will be made to identify and verify the constructs of the evaluation and the peculiarities of this group of participants. From the results discussions will be conducted on the concepts underlying the PEI and the psychological variables of this population, with a view to suggestions for improvements to this evaluation and attention to possible contributions to the literature of the area, such as the promotion of reflections by professionals working with this population
