The gaming market is in full expansion, attending a huge audience of all ages, nationalities and social classes. Young people around the world spend more and more time engaging in computer games, cell phones and video games, while decreasing time with street games and toys. The objective of this work is to verify the results obtained in the surveys carried out from 2010 to 2016 on some commercial electronic games and to verify if they promote violence in moral judgments made by the child and adolescent. A bibliographic research was carried out, with consultation in the VHL-PSI, PEPSIC, SCIELO, USP Digital Library, among others, delimiting the use of sources that comprised the period from 2010 to 2016. We found 56 articles referring to the descriptors Electronic Games, Violence and Moral Development. Among the articles searched, we selected 09 papers relevant to this work. We found no theoretical evidence that any game, electronic or not, is sufficient object to take the player to violent acts in real life and that the preference for the game is not violence but the degree of challenge of it. It was verified that games that prioritize group decisions promote actions of mutual respect and cooperation among peers
