Esta construção dá-se quando a criança obtura a fenda existente entre mãe e criança, constituindo-se como objeto que completa o fantasma do outro.^len^aThis article shows a psychoanalytical reading of autism as a way of protection of the individual. This process builds up as opposed to a halt in development. It occurs when the child bridges the existing gap between mother and child and presents itself as the object that fulfills the ghost of the other.
