^lpt^aO presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar algumas das principais formas de se pensar os autismos na infância, à luz das teorizações de Jacques Lacan. Para tanto, retoma o ato de nomeação da síndrome do autismo infantil precoce por Kanner e a definição de Tustin. Enfatiza a necessidade de distinguir o plano em que se apresentam os fenômenos na clínica psicanalítica daquele de sua estruturação, crucial para uma possível direção do tratamento.^len^aThis paper aims to discuss some of the present ways of conceiving the autisms in childhood, from the theoretical perspective inaugurated by facques Lacan. In order to do so, it reconsiders the nomination given by Kanner to the syndrome as well as the definition presented by Tustin. Emphasis is put on the need to distinguish between the phenomenological and the structural levels, in order to decide for a treatment direction.
