^lpt^aO trabalho clínico com crianças leva o psicanalista a deparar com as questões referentes ao campo da educação. Neste texto a autora interroga acerca da concepção que tem sido compartilhada na atualidade, sobre a função educativa da escola e ainda a respeito de como a educação das crianças tem se realizado no espaço escolar. Faz uma retomada histórica constatando que o lugar de criança e, em seguida, o surgimento da família moderna e da escola coincidem. A escola é desde sempre um lugar de inscrição social. Nesta perspectiva, a escola tem uma função co-extensiva à dos pais, na tarefa de educação das crianças. A partir de uma breve análise, situa os diferentes lugares que pais e educadores ocupam na função de educar as crianças, considerando o desejo. Reflete criticamente sobre a forma pela qual as escolas têm tomado a sua função educativa, resultando em conseqüências que surgem para nós na clinica cotidiana.^len^aThe clinical work with children group leads the psychoanalyst coining across with the referring subjects to the field of the Education. In that text the author interrogates concerning the conception that has been shared at the present tune, about the educational function of the school and still how the children's education has been accomplished in the school space. She makes a historical retaking verifying that child's place and, soon after, the appearance of the modern family and of school, they coincide. The school is, however, a place of social registration. In this perspective, school has a co-extensive function to the one of the parents, in the task of children's education. Starting from a brief analysis, it sites the different places that parents and educators take part educating children, considering desire. She ponders critically about the way schools have been taken its educational function, with consequences we face at daily clinic.
