^lpt^aEste artigo trata do encontro de dois grupos de adolescentes de instituições diferentes: a primeira, que se ocupa do tratamento e escolarização de crianças com distúrbios globais do desenvolvimento, a outra, uma iniciativa do governo de São Paulo, que busca a inserção social de crianças e adolescentes que vivem em uma favela que cresce nos arredores da universidade. Trouxe à nossa experiência clínica reflexões sobre o conceito de Função Fraterna no que concerne ao possível estabelecimento de uma lei ordenadora, sustentada pela relação horizontal entre esses dois grupos de jovens.^len^aThis article treats of the encounter between teenagers of two different institutions: the first occupied with treatment and school inclusion of children with global development disorders, the other, a govemmental iniciative that intends the social inclusion of children and teenagers living in a slum that grows nearby the University. This encounter raised to our clinical experience reflections about the concept of Fraternal Function, in what concerns the possible establishment of the Law supported by the horizontal relation between these two groups of youngsters.
