^lpt^aA presente comunicação tece breves considerações acerca da finalização do processo psicoterapêutico. Compreendeu-se que, assim como a análise, a psicoterapia e psicoterapia breve têm objetivos distintos, suas propostas de finalização também serão distintas; entretanto, em todas elas há necessidade de se reconhecer aquisição do insight.^len^aThis paper weaves brief remarks about the completion of the psychotherapeutic process. It was understood that, as well as analysis, psychotherapy and brief psychotherapy have different objectives and their proposed completion will also be different. However, in all of then there is a need to recognize the acquisition insight.
