^lpt^aEncontramos nos primeiros anos de vida informações sobre nutrição e promoção de atitudes positivas quanto aos alimentos. Conhecer e entender todo o processo da alimentação é parte crucial para desvendar a escolha de uma conduta alimentar. Os conseqüentes distúrbios daí advindos ainda são obscuros para pais e educadores. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo analisa as concepções de distúrbios alimentares na infância por educadoras da rede privada do município de Campina Grande - Paraíba, classificando-os em modalidades, causas e prevalência nas referidas escolas.^len^aTo observe the first years of life is a wellspring of information about nutrition and the promotion of positive attitude concerning food. To know with and understand all the process of feeding, what includes not only the acceptance of the food, as also, the different nutrients that it contains, is a crucial part to discover the choice of the nourishing conduct. The consequent feeding disorder, mostly not so unequivocally manifested, is still a mystery to parents and teachers. In this context, the present study purpose is to analyze the conception of Eating Disorder in childhood by the private school teachers in the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba.
