IMHOF, Solange et al. Therapeutic Groups With Hemodialysis Clinics Workers During Covid-19 Pandemic. []. , 24, 1, pp.137-146. ISSN 1516-0858.

Therapeutic groups are widely used practices that assist in addressing emotional issues and developing coping behaviors. This study aimed to describe the implementation of therapeutic groups for hemodialysis clinics' workers during the covid-19 pandemic and to assess the participants' perception of fear at different times. Four meetings were held with different themes, and fear was assessed by the Subjective Fear Scale (SFS) in the second and last meeting. Fifty workers were included in the study. Most of the sample comprised women, nursing professionals with technical level education. There was no difference in the SFS score at both times. In the beginning, women scored significantly higher than men, as did younger participants (<40 years old) compared to older ones. In the end, the score increased significantly only in the group with less education. Eighty-six per cent of the participants rated it as "great" to have participated in the group.Psychology interventions through therapeutic groups proved to be important for healthy coping, providing a time when workers could expose their anxieties and exchange experiences with colleagues.
