^lpt^aO presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o conhecimento de estudantes de psicologia a respeito de conteúdos relacionados à avaliação psicológica. Participaram 180 alunos de 1º e 5º anos, de uma instituição de ensino do interior de São Paulo. Para a realização deste trabalho, foi elaborado um teste com 45 itens, com questões dicotômicas, cujo objetivo era investigar o conceito de avaliação, o uso de instrumentos e a aprendizagem de testes. Os resultados indicaram que houve diferença significativa entre os grupos de 1º e 5º anos em aproximadamente metade dos itens e que, de uma forma geral, os sujeitos do 5º ano obtiveram melhores desempenhos do que os do 1º.^len^aThe present study had as aim to analyze the knowledge of psychology students regarding contents related to the psychological assessment. Participated 180 students from 1^st and 5^th grades, from an institution of education in the interior of São Paulo city. For the accomplishment of the study a 45 items test was elaborated with dichotomy questions, whose objective was to investigate the concept of assessment, the use of tests and the learning of tests. The results have indicated that there was significant difference among the groups from 1^st and 5^th grades in approximately half of the items and that in a context, the students from 5^th grade have gotten better performances than the ones from 1^st grade.
