Quando o escultor, pintor e desenhista Alberto Giacometti tenta ver a realidade, ele enfrenta a impossível e necessária tarefa de concluir as obras. Mas a obra torna-se o próprio gesto pendular de destruição e construção. Esse gesto abre no presente um hiato espacial e temporal, parecendo definir uma arte trágica e seu destino sem origem nem finalidade, tal como a alta modernidade ocidental nos acostumou a experimentar.^len^aThe notion of aggressiveness as proposed by the English psychoanalyst D.
