^lpt^aTrataremos de uma reflexão sobre o lugar da literatura na elaboração do saber psicanalítico. O objetivo é delinear sua importância fundamental nesse processo, a partir do reconhecimento de que a escrita literária se impõe como necessidade para Freud, ocupando locus basilar na caminhada contínua de formação para o analista. Consideramos que os ecos dos efeitos que a literatura lhe causou constituem matéria-prima para a produção do saber psicanalítico, caracterizando um estilo de escrita singular e inseparável dos modos de transmissão da psicanálise. Neste artigo, ressaltamos o lugar de Freud como autor e a transferência ao seu estilo como um importante fator de filiação no percurso do formar-se analista. Também destacamos a escrita sobre a clínica e a interessante questão do analista-escritor.^len^aWe deal with a reflection on the place of literature in the elaboration of psychoanalytic knowledge. The objective is to outline its fundamental importance in this process, beginning with the acknowledgement of what the literary writings impose as necessary to Freud, occupying basic locus in the continuing journey of the formation of the analyst. We consider that the echoes of the effects that literature caused constitute raw materials for the production of psychoanalytic knowledge, characterizing a unique style of writing, which is inseparable from the modes of transmission of psychoanalysis. In this article, we highlight the place of Freud as an author and the transfer of his style as an important factor of affiliation on the road to forming an analyst. We also emphasize the writing of and about clinical experience and the interesting question of the writer-analyst.
