^lpt^aEste artigo contempla um relato de uma experiência realizada ao longo de três anos com velhos residentes em um lar para idosos. A partir da inserção na instituição e da análise crítica acerca do lugar simbólico ocupado pelos residentes na dinâmica de funcionamento institucional, surgiu a necessidade de revisar a compreensão sobre o processo de envelhecimento na contemporaneidade, em especial no que se refere à velhice institucionalizada; bem como rever as modalidades de atenção psicológica às demandas dessa população. Assim, buscou-se oferecer um espaço de acolhimento aos modos de subjetivação emergentes nesse local, desconstruindo formas hegemônicas de escutar e olhar a velhice, bem como rever os modos vigentes de atendimento a esses sujeitos. Propôs-se a construção e ampliação de dispositivos que pudessem favorecer a expressão dos desejos e singularidades desses velhos (clínica ampliada), através da criação de espaços individuais e coletivos de acolhimento com o intuito de oferecer uma escuta diferenciada ao sofrimento e às formas de subjetivação emergentes. Observar a instituição como um nicho diferenciado de experiências, em que se vivenciam outras formas de atividades que evocam outra potência da velhice, indicou a necessidade e importância de se traçar outros dispositivos, práticas, saberes e fazeres para a criação de espaços terapêuticos. Por isso, a intervenção teve um caráter experimental, no sentido de deixar-se afetar e ser afetado por, na procura de tecer junto com os residentes do asilo redes que permitissem a criação de novas direções e novos territórios de existência.^len^aThis article contemplate an account of an experiment conducted over three-year with old people resident in an elderly home care. From entering the institution and the critical analysis about the symbolic place occupied by residents in the dynamics of institutional operation, to emerge the need to revise the understanding of the aging process in contemporary society, particularly with regarding to institutionalized elderly, as well as review the modality of psychological treatments to the demands of this population. Thus, intended to provide reception space for emerging forms of subjectivity in this place, deconstructing hegemonic forms of listening and looking at old age, and revise the existing modes of care for these individuals. Proposed the construction and expansion of devices that could favor the expression of desires and singularities of these old (extended clinic), through the creation of individual and collective reception spaces with the intend to offer a differentiated listening to the suffering and forms of emerging subjectivity. Observe the institution as a differentiated niche of experience, which experience other forms of activities that evoke on other power of old age, indicated the necessity and importance of to delineate other devices, practices, knowledge and procedures for the creation of therapeutic spaces. Therefore, the intervention had an experimental character, in the since of let it affect and be affected by, in seeking to weave together with residents of the asylum networks that enable the creation of new directions and new existence territory.
