COSTA, Pedro Henrique Antunes da    MENDES, Kíssila Teixeira. The eternal scape of 'nobodity': capital's offensive, brazilian identity and the production of 'neo-nobodies'. []. , 20, 49, pp.476-489. ISSN 2175-1390.

This article aims to discuss the current relevance of the concept of nobodyness, by Darcy Ribeiro, understanding the construction of Brazilian social identity in current economic, social and political context. We start from the assumption that the intensification of the structural crisis of capitalism fosters a capital ofensive in its neoliberal form with a conservative and reactionary rise, contributing to the creation of the neonone's. This re-updates Brazilians' original and permanent movement for being someone fleeing from their ethnic and identity nobodyness, deepening the binomial I versus Other, along with silencing and erasuring those others. Therefore, we point to the need of understanding our socially and procedurally produced identity in the face of our concrete economic, political and socio-cultural formation, ie, linking it to the social division that has been produced here from social classes and their nuances, as well as to ethnic-racial and gender dimensions.
