ABSTRACT This research goes through discursive practices and the production of meanings in order to analyze the discourse of teachers, students and psychology professionals on health management. Its scenario was an edition of the Education Program on Work for Health (PETSaúde), focusing on the Family Health Strategy, held in a capital from the Northeast part of Brazil from 2011 to 2013. The research's participants were: 2 teachers and 9 students from the Psychology undergraduate program, and 5 psychologists from the basic health network. Four analysis axes were discussed: integrality; decentralization; autonomy and co-responsibility; worker's health. The research identified: critical perspectives on management practices coming from traditional management models, defense to the extension of using participative devices on management and highlight to places instituted with power. It is considered that the challenge to Psychology professional education is to qualify professionals that understand that acting on the health field implies on integrating management, care and education.
