COSTA, ANA LUDMILA; ARAUJO, FERNANDA RAQUEL NUNES DA COSTA    MEDEIROS, LEONARDO AZEVEDO DE. Suffering and resistance experienced by women, black women and lgbtqia+ community. []. , 23, 57, pp.265-277.   07--2024. ISSN 2175-1390.

It aims to understand suffering and resistance of groups oppressed by the new Brazilian conservative wave. With a Marxist approach, it debates the concepts of subjectivity, consubstantiality and neo-conservatism to analyze the experiences of women, black women and LGBTQIA+ community. Data collection used semi-structured interviews, analyzed by repeated listening, exhaustive reading of transcripts and elaboration of emerging categories. A predominance of youth was identified in this debate; complexity of situations of suffering and resistance due to the different arrangements between sex, gender and race; reproduction of stereotypes regarding women; economic and sexual exploitation of black woman’s bodies; and religious and/or institutional arguments as legitimization of public oppression. It is concluded that the structural nature of the oppression against the studied groups is revealed from universal and subjective aspects, with the interference of socio-historical conditions in the experience of suffering. The need to articulate agendas and implement coping strategies is clear.
