^lpt^aO presente artigo parte da questão: "Como responder ao sintoma que é evento corporal?" e segue por três vias de reposta: a interpretação, o sintoma e o corpo, de objeto a evento. A primeira via menciona a distinção freudiana entre interpretação e construção e atravessa várias definições de Lacan, concluindo na importância do sonoro, tanto para a interpretação, quanto para o sintoma. Na segunda via, após algumas definições do sintoma, é apresentado e discutido um trabalho que traz a expressão "novos sintomas" e se refere à assim chamada "síndrome de Okatu". Essa parte do texto menciona também os sujeitos capturados pelo mundo virtual e os jovens que praticam "cortes". A terceira parte desenvolve algumas concepções do corpo, de objeto a evento. In the second way, after some definitions of the symptom, it is presented and discussed a work that brings the expression "new symptoms" and reports to the so called "Okatu syndrome". This part of the text also mentions the subjects that are captured by virtual world and the young people that do "cutting". The third part develops some conceptions of the body, from the object to the event. In the final paragraphs there are some considerations about science and capitalism discourses and psychoanalytical bet.
