MESQUITA, Gilda Pitombo. What contemporary psychoanalysis can tell us about male hysteria. []. , 27, pp.121-125. ISSN 1676-157X.

This is a case of male hysteria which illustrates very clearly the subjective division of the patient in the sexual scene. He always requires the presence of a third person: swing or sexual object. He also demonstrates with his hysterical symptom - urinating compulsively - his state of sexual excitement - "hard weapon". This way, he denounces the perverse sexuality that removes the veil of repression.

: Male hysteria; Homosexuality; Phallic assertion; Swing.
